The necklace reached the record books for being the largest ever diamond pendant with 3,756 round-cut white diamonds set in the 18-carat yellow and white gold. Forbes claims that celebrities are getting more ostentatious in their wearing of jewellery, noting Eva Longoria's gold-plated and diamond-flecked hair clips, worn for her recent wedding. Furthermore, it reveals that Lindsay Lohan's once had a set of Fred Segal gold handcuffs - estimated retail price $820 - dangling from her car rear-view mirror, while Forbes notes that rapper-producer Pharrell Williams owns a gold-plated BlackBerry.
