Wednesday, 11th July 2007 (4417 views) Gold jewellery manufacturer Rosy Blue has partnered with Joy Alukkas for its latest Ovio collection, it has been reported.According to Al Bawaba, the Ovio collection is focussed on gold pieces set with precious stones and diamonds. The news provider claims that the jewellery companies believe the collection will appeal to Arab, Asian and Western tastes. "Rosy Blue's market research in the United Arab Emirates through our retail partners indicates the tastes and buying trends of specific nationalities and cultural groups - our sales demonstrate that Arab nationals tend to choose larger stones," Harshad Mehta, chairman of Rosy Blue told Al Bawaba. He added that Asian nationals tend to opt for gold jewellery with a "dangling element", while European buyers prefer a more minimalist style. Rosy Blue is branding partners with Vera Wang fine jewellery. Vera Wang's bridal and fashion jewellery features gold in a contemporary styling.
