"Classic" 24-carat gold watch from ZituraTuesday, 10th July 2007 (2831 views) Swiss watchmaker Zitura has created a watch from 24-carat gold with a solid gold dial and 999.9 minted purity. The men's gold watch weighs 4.6 grammes while the ladies' watch weighs 2.6 grammes, both come with a certificate issued by an official Swiss minting company authenticating their gold purity, origin and weight. Europa Star reports that since its founding in 1952, Zitura has designed 24-carat gold watches that were traditionally presented to well-known customers of the Swiss Bank Corporation. Furthermore, Europa Star reveals that Zitura's signature gold bar ingot dial was thought up by the company in the 1980s for a customer in the Middle East. "Designed after the pure 24-carat gold bar minted by the Swiss Bank Corporation, the original gold bar ingot weighed one gramme and was merely glued onto the dial. Inspired by the beauty of the reflective ingot dial and the inherent value of gold," Europa Star noted. Zitura's 24-carat gold watches are available in Reefton gold, Kidston gold, Laverton gold and Rawdon gold.
