Star of US television series Desperate Housewives Eva Longoria married her basketball-player sweetheart at the weekend at a 17th century castle in Paris.

Attendees at the wedding included the bride's Desperate Housewives co-stars Nicollette Sheridan, Felicity Huffman and Teri Hatcher although it is unconfirmed as to whether or not Marcia Cross attended the golden event following the recent birth of her twin babies.

Longoria's gold wedding ring was encrusted in 107 diamonds, while the 18-carat white gold band also bears an inscription in French on the inside - with husband Tony Parker sporting a similar white-gold design, albeit without the sparkle.

Forbes reports that French footballer Thierry Henry was among those guests sitting on the groom's side of the church.

Children appear to be next on the couple's to-do list, as Forbes reports Parker as telling Le Parisien: "That would be even better than my NBA titles, even if I don't compare private life and sports, Eva talks to me about it all the time. I'd like to have girls, because I come from a world of boys."

Female guests at the wedding were given 18-carat yellow gold bracelets from Van Cleef & Arpels' Sweet Alhambra range, People magazine reports.
