Actress Eva Longoria, who plays Gabrielle Solis on popular television show Desperate Housewives, has begun receiving wedding guests ahead of the big day.

Among the gifts the former model has received a quantity of white gold jewellery from fellow celebrity Mario Lopez of Saved By The Bell fame.

Lopez presented the bride and groom-to-be - basketball player Tony Parker - with gold adornment from jewellers Kwiat Solaris.

Longoria was given an 18-carat white gold bracelet from the Kwiat Solaris collection, adorned with 102 diamonds, weighing 2.03 carats and valued at $8,150 ($4,075).

In turn her basketball player fiancee received a 1.27-carat tie pin also from the Kwiat Solaris collection and decorated with 70 diamonds.

Guests to the nuptials are reported to include Longoria's Desperate Housewives co-stars - Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Nicollette Sheridan - Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jamie Foxx and Parker's basketball teammates.
