Some 18-carat gold is used on the phone and it is said to be an unparalleled expression of personal style and elegance for its owner. Heikki Norta, the senior vice president of Nokia's mobile phone division, said: "The Nokia 8800 Sirocco Gold is set to continue Nokia's strong legacy in exclusive and highly desirable style accessories. White gold accents are also used on the phone which is predominantly made of yellow gold and a sapphire coated glass display also features.
