Montblanc collection showcased in Middle EastWednesday, 7th March 2007 (3251 views) Montblanc - the brand generally associated with luxury writing instruments - has launched a new diamond jewellery collection in the Middle East.The collection comprises of many elegant pieces including La Dame Blanche which amalgamates 18-carat white gold with nephrite jade and white diamonds. Unveiled on March 1st in the Grand Hyatt in Dubai, the jewellery ensemble comprised of 37 carats worth of diamonds with the centrepiece being the Montblanc Diamond which is fashioned to resemble the Montblanc signature star and is also set on white gold. Performing at the launch, Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins said: "I have always been a fan of Montblanc. To me it is the epitomy of grace and elegance and a unique combination of quality, design, tradition and master craftsmanship." Lutz Bethge, managing Director of Montblanc International, declared the collection could be seen as another milestone in his company's history. Montblanc has said that each item available from the collection is bespoke and therefore an original piece.
