Tanishq opens new jewellery storeTuesday, 27th February 2007 (4972 views) A new store has been opened by India's largest jewellery brand Tanishq in Bangalore that takes its inspiration from traditional Indian roots.Specifically located in the Koramangala region of Bangalore at Balaji Arcade, this new store is 3,500 square feet and will offer the latest designs from Tanishq. With "India's rich heritage" held up as the philosophy behind not only the store, but also the brand's collections, Tanishq's new store has echoes of both Pallava and Chettinad architecture in particular. Mr. Bhaskar Bhat, managing director of Titan Industries, part of the Tata Group which also runs Tanishq, said: "With the unveiling of this new look store, inspired by India's rich heritage, Tanishq seeks to translate its mission of revitalizing traditional Indian jewellery to suit the preference of the contemporary Indian woman." To launch the store, consumers will be given the opportunity to receive a gold coin every time a purchase of 15 grams' worth of 22-carat gold jewellery is made.
