Golden PCs sell for high priceThursday, 11th January 2007 (3494 views) Home entertainment provider Moneual Lab has created a series of extravagant PCs made from gold and encrusted with diamonds and other precious stones.Dubbed Jewellery PCs, the new range has been designed by renowned jewellery designer Lee Charles Buckingham and is aimed at the luxury market. The most expensive models are those which include real diamonds and other precious gems such as rubies, topazes and sapphires. They have been priced at a whopping $1 million (£515,000). Other models include the Baroque 18-karat gold PC, the Renaissance white and yellow gold PC, and the Rococo white and yellow gold PC. These PCs are on the market for $30,000 (£15,000). Harold Park, president and chief executive of Moneual Lab, said: "We are pleased to announce the Jewellery PC systems with Mr Buckingham, which are available during 2007 only. "This is a very special event that has never happened before and it will be a benefit for a very important and valuable customer who has been waiting for very premium level product that can be well-matched with luxury living rooms." The Jewellery PC systems come with a lifetime warranty and a premium class customer-care program.
