Gold on display in Indian jewellery exhibitionThursday, 14th December 2006 (4835 views) A range of gold jewellery has gone on display at a unique Indian exhibition.The four-day event is one of the largest exhibitions held in the country and will showcase a range of fashion and jewellery from around the country with displays of stunning diamonds, luxury watches and platinum prices as well as amazing couture gold jewellery items, reports the Indo Asian News Service. Timeless Jewels 2006 is being held at the Taj Palace hotel in New Delhi until December 18th and this year's main exhibition feature will include gold jewellery designed to directly complement a range of traditional Indian bridal outfits created by some of the country's most influential fashion designers. Renu Dadlani of the leading New Delhi-based Prateeksha fashion house, explained: "This is for the first time that we will be able to exhibit our collection along with jewellery. I will exhibit chikankari lehengas and saris of bridal wear."
