The December issue of luxury lifestyle magazine the Robb Report has announced its guide to Christmas gifts and among the featured extravagant items is a gold ring set with a 25-carat green diamond.

Not one for the Scrooges, the ring is available for a sum of $7.3 million (£3.7 million) and is among 21 gift ideas for those with money to burn.

Created by the Swiss jewellery house de Grisogono, the diamond ring is also adorned with seven-carat black diamonds.

As well as the ring, the Robb Report also features a Rocket Racing League team which includes two rocker racers that cost $80 million and a $3.25 million trip that incorporates playing at ten Scottish and Irish golf courses and accommodates seven guests. A former PGA champion will play alongside the seven to form two foursomes.

Fawaz Gruosi's de Grisogono made putting the black diamond back on the jewellery map its priority in the 1990s. It sells a range of jewellery and watches and has stores across the world.
