White gold memory stick is launchedTuesday, 14th November 2006 (3242 views) For those with a lot of funds and in need of inspiration for a Christmas gift with a difference, prayers could have been answered with the launch of a new memory stick.The 4GB Snow Drive made by mii Stor, is fashioned from 18-carat white gold and is adorned with three strips of 1.44-carat white diamonds. Retailing at £9,950, the memory stick has been designed through a collaboration between British aerospace engineers, diamond specialists from Hatton Garden and manufacturing jewellers. Allied to this, Sandisk provide the future proof technology needed for the USB flash drive to operate. According to mii Stor's website, the unique item has "turned data into jewellery accessories that you'll want to wear or carry with you all the time". Each model comes with a keyring loop so that the memory stick could be worn as a pendent by the fashion-conscious and aside from the white gold design, the memory stick also comes in stainless steel, silver and platinum.
