Exclusive Italian jewellery house Marco Bicego has created a new gold and diamond signature collection to go on sale at both Damas les Exclusives and Saks Fifth Avenue.

The ensemble is entitled Marrakech and Marco Bicego himself turned up in Dubai at Damas les Exclusives to launch the collection.

Marrakech comprises 18-carat gold jewellery that is adorned with diamonds and other precious stones in an intricately coiled shape.

Mr Bicego explained: "My customer is a universal woman of style and confidence and she enjoys the luxury of travel, fine food, appreciates art, history and fine design.

"She has no specific age or place, but is the woman who wears creations that flatter her heart and soul, finding luxury in her everyday world and experiences."

Tamjid Abdullah, the deputy managing director at Damas, spoke of his passion for the collection, describing collections such as Marrakech as "masterpieces" and hailing the fact that Bicego's jewellery has been brought to the region.

The Marco Bicego jewellery line has been operating since 2000 and the flagship store is located in Verona.
