Friday, 3rd November 2006 (3302 views)

An auction involving exclusive articles of gold Boucheron jewellery will be one of the key features of the Reach Out To Asia (Rota) gala dinner taking place on November 4th.

The Delilah Trouble has been produced by Boucheron especially for the charity auction being held in Qatar's capital, Doha.

Comprising of a necklace, earrings and a bracelet, the Delilah Trouble is fashioned from gold and rubies and according to organisers of the celebrity gala event, "bidding is expected to be vigorous" for the jewellery.

Alongside the gold jewellery set is a second exclusive Boucheron diamond combo to be auctioned at the event.

Fund-raising for Rota is being led by the Qatar Foundation, Qatar Airways and the Doha Asian Games Organising Committee and celebrities expected to attend the star-studded dinner include supermodel Adriana Karembeu, singer Natalie Imbruglia and South Africa's archbishop Desmond Tutu.

The auction is to be run by Sotherby's and the aim of the Rota campaign is to raise money and awareness for aids projects in both Asia and the Middle East.
