Millionaire Fair boasts most expensive phoneThursday, 2nd November 2006 (3452 views) Russia's richest have been making every effort to part with their cash during the Millionaire Fair, taking place in Moscow this week.Among products on offer at the fair is the world's most expensive mobile phone – bedecked in gold and diamonds - worth nearly $1.5 million (£787,000). According to Russian vendor Ilgar Rustamov, one of the phones was sold to a Russian businessman at September's Millionaire Fair in Cannes. So far, only three of the phones have been made by Goldvish. The fair also displayed a $1.9 million (£996,000) Bugatti Veyron and a racehorse worth $568,000 (£298,000). Russia is currently home to 88,000 millionaires, according to Forbes magazine and should they not be able to purchase one of the phones on offer at the fair, the company also produces a cheaper one that is custom made and is made of 18 carat gold, set with diamonds. Goldvish's Plato collection consists of 100 mobile phones and is available on special request, possibly tempting some of the millionaires at the Millionaire Fair.
