A solid gold golf tee has been launched by VaniTees which could prove to be a big hit this Christmas.

The 14-carat gold golf tee comes in two distinct designs: a male bodybuilder which is entitled HercuTees and a sculpted female version known as the AprhodiTees.

Both of the tees have been described by VaniTees as "truly unique golf gift[s] for the unique golfer" and they cost $2,995 (£1,599) for the HercuTees and the AprhodiTees is priced at $2,495 (£1,332)

The HercuTees product weighs 3.5 ounces while the AprhodiTees golf tee is a little lighter at 2.08 ounces. Both of the VaniTees golf tees come with their own customised presentation case to add a unique touch.

Only a limited number of the solid gold golf tees have been produced so people are urged to purchase the product fast to avoid disappointment. Allied to this, all of the tees are numbered to show their authenticity and individuality.
