Peacechain US, a Michigan-based company, has announced a distribution agreement with Peace on Earth, a firm from Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Designer Elizabeth Harley of Peace on Earth has created a range of jewellery designed to encourage peace through the values of tolerance and respect for individual differences.

The unique Peacechain from the collection, consists of nine discs held together by a symbolic dove in the centre. The discs, which come in 22-carat gold version, are meant to represent all religions, peoples, spiritual paths and philosophies. They have the words or symbols which represent 'love' and 'peace' inscribed on them in 13 different languages.

"As well as being a beautiful and unique statement of personal peace, Peace Jewellery is intended to affect us at a cellular level," Elizabeth Harley said.

Heather White of Peacechain US explained her company's marketing strategy: "Our key focus is to manage our growth through the end of the year by limiting initial quantities to ensure that quality and distribution systems are solidly established."
