World-renowned jewellery manufacturer Tiffany and Co has announced it will be opening its 52nd retail store in Japan in November.

The latest location for the jeweller, which specialises in diamond, gold and platinum designs, will be in Tokyo's Roppongi Hills – an upmarket urban centre that features an eclectic mix of commercial and residential areas, coupled with various parks and plazas.

The store itself will specialise mainly in the diamond jewellery range of Tiffany's vast collection, although it will also feature a variety of other items, particularly 18-carat gold and platinum pieces that compliment the diamonds themselves.

"We are very excited to open a Tiffany and Co store that features our extraordinary diamonds, and we feel Roppongi Hills, which is a key centre of luxury retail activity, is the ideal location," said Michael C Christ, president of Tiffany and Co, Japan.

"The store will be a dazzling showcase for the unsurpassed quality of Tiffany diamonds…which are at the heart of Tiffany's worldwide reputation for quality and design excellence."
