According to a report in USA Today, gold jewellery maker Jennifer Meyer has many friends and admirers in high places.

Her lines of jewellery are used by Hollywood costume designers Nina and Claire Hallworth, who have worked on such films as Spiderman 3 (Kirsten Dunst) and The Break-Up (Jennifer Aniston).

The jewellery has earned rave reviews from celebrities who have worn her pieces in their films, so much so that many, including Dunst and Aniston, have asked for items for their own personal collections.

Her fiancé is Spiderman himself, Tobey Maguire, and her father is no less than Universal Studios president Ron Meyer. However, Miss Meyer says she lets her designs do most of the talking.

"I wanted people to feel like my jewellery could be incorporated with anything else that they wore," she said.

Jennifer Meyer Jewellery currently sports an 18-carat gold line available at Barneys in New York, as well as its sister store in Los Angeles, along with Kaviar and Kind, also in LA, and Maxfield in Beverley Hills. Items can cost from $125 right up to $11,000.
