Several famous musicians and entertainers have announced they will donate jewellery and designer watches and clothing to charity.

Stars who featured at last week's Black Entertainment Television awards ceremony in Los Angeles will donate the 'swag bag' given to them at the event to an online auction intended to raise money for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.

Containing such expensive items as gold jewellery, Chanel sunglasses and a multitude of designer labels, stars such as Will.I.Am, Harry Belefonte, Three Six Mafia and Chamillionaire are among the many to make the charitable gesture.

"I heard 15,000 people in LA don't know their status," said Lil Jon. "We've got to keep it crunk and get tested."

The auction itself is being held through internet site eBay and closes at 5pm on 10th July.
