Monday, 12th June 2006 (5409 views) Malaysian jeweller Habib has brought out key new pieces of jewellery for men in time for Father's Day, expanding its Maestro collection that was launched successfully a year ago.Customers will have the opportunity to create jewellery exactly to the stylish man's tastes, by selecting the stone and the setting 9 or 18 carat gold, platinum and white gold personally. The new designs comprise cufflinks, rings and decorative clothing fastenings, with future plans for men's bracelets, tiepins and chains. The jeweller is concentrating on the orange gemstone jasper in this year's collection, which joins onyx and turquoise as 'masculine' gems. Habib says that it has seen more demand from customers for special Father's Day jewellery in addition to Mother's Day collections. In terms of popularity, men are following in the footsteps of many male celebrities by becoming more enthusiastic about wearing and investing in jewellery, Habib says. The jeweller is also celebrating the launch of the new men's jewellery by offering 50 per cent off certain collections for a limited period.
