Tuesday, 6th June 2006 (5216 views) California's Mina Group is to debut its jewellery range at the Las Vegas show of JCK magazine. The firm will showcase diamonds set in platinum and white gold, as well as a continuation of the company's more established lines in yellow gold. Mina Group's president, Michel Minassian, explained his new strategy: "My main target business is fancy colours and solitaire rings." He is also keen to develop close relationship with his customers, something he attributes to his Armenian upbringing: "Trust is key to doing business in the Middle East." The group's products are, however, only for a very select market with prices beginning at $25,000 (approximately £13,000). Global gold prices, as well as those of other commodities like copper, have risen sharply in recent months.
