The mother of teen Hollywood star Amanda Bynes is to enter into the design of gold and precious jewellery, according to reports in The National Ledger.

The news comes after her daughter's appearance at the premiere of her latest film release "The Break Up", starring Vince Vaughan and Jennifer Aniston, where she was snapped wearing a long gold necklace encrusted with green precious stones.

It seems that Lynn Bynes is now looking to make a move into the jewellery business on the back of the eye-catching jewellery Amanda has been caught wearing.

"She's started to make jewellery," the young actress told interviewers at the premiere last week. "The fact that people are being nice about it, maybe she will."

The National Ledger reports that Bynes would dearly love to see her mother make the jump into the business as it is an industry close to both of their hearts.

Soon we could see one Bynes family creation sporting another at Amanda's next film premiere.
