A range of jewellery newly launched in the US is said to be creating a stir in Tinseltown and Broadway.

The chic, cheeky French artist behind the handmade range goes by the name of Fifi La Roux. Her feminine designs are made from 14 carat gold and sterling silver, with semi-precious stones. Each carries Fifi's unique stamp.

A collection of gemstone necklaces is already generating high demand, now on sale through a Virginia Beach boutique.

The designer also offers customers the opportunity to work with a consultant to create their own necklace design, which will be made uniquely for them.

Discerning animal companions will also be able to keep up with the trends - a visit to the Fifi La Roux website appears to promise future developments in the form of a range of pet jewellery.
