Thursday, 18th May 2006 (5119 views) Jerry Kramer has been reunited with his gold Super Bowl I ring, 25 years after it was stolen from him.The former offensive guard for the Green Bay Packers was presented with the piece of jewellery by the current Packers lineup outside their home stadium, Lambeau Field. Mr Kramer said: "The ring isn't just some diamond and gold. It's a collection of memories and moments, ball games, coach Lombardi speeches, memories of all those guys in the locker room." The ring was spotted on an auctioneer's website by John Nitschke about a month ago. Mastro Auctions, who were selling the ring, took it off their books after they were informed that the ring was stolen. "Hopefully this ring will bring a nice chunk of change this fall to get starteed a program to generate funds for players of my era," concluded Mr Kramer.
