Angry nameplate necklace raises breast cancer awareness

A new gold necklace available on the internet is offering consumers the chance to show that they are 'angry' that breast cancer continues to be a growing problem.

Produced by US jewellery firm I am . . . accessories, the Angry nameplate necklace is made from 14kt gold, silver or gold plate.

Proceeds from all sales will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund.

The necklace is designed to spark debate and other variations on offer include the words brave, calm, and i am.

The Angry nameplate necklace costs $48 for the gold plate version and $195 for a 14kt gold necklace.

A statement on the I am . . . accessories website reads: "Start a conversation and make a change by passing the word to one person at a time. Cool, young & fun, and, best of all, meaningful."

I am . . . accessories, founded by designer Sharon Chalkin Feldstein and entrepreneur Jennifer Cattaui, is a company that claims its ethos is "style and philanthropy" and all items sold are tied to a charity.
