24 Karat Wholesale launches reward programmeWednesday, 15th March 2006 (3939 views) Online jewellery distributor 24 Karat Wholesale has launched a loyalty scheme whereby customers can earn vouchers to spend in a range of other shops. The wholesaler, which boasts 178,000 registered customers, claims the scheme is the "first" customer reward programme in the jewellery business. Under the new scheme, jewellers will receive voucher rewards based on the total amount of purchases made on either www.24KaratStore.com or www.24Karatwholesale.com. The first reward can be earned after customers spend $500 on accumulated purchases, after which they qualify for gift certificates worth between 1.6 per cent and five per cent of the purchase. The vouchers can then be spent in a range of outlets, including Blockbuster, AMC Theatres, Bass Pro Shops, Marconi Grill, Marriott and Starbucks. Setting out the rationale for the new programme, 24 Karat Wholesale owner Hans Klasson said he believed loyal customers "should be rewarded for their business". 24 Karat Wholesale is a gold and silver jewellery distributor focusing on small home-based business and online and auction firms.
