The JCK Group has announced its line up of events for 2006, starting with the JCK NYC International three day-show on March 5th.

This is a new show, organised after feedback from the main players in the diamond and gold jewellery industry.

Members of the diamond industry will descend on the New York Hilton Hotel, where delegates will be able to network, discuss the latest trends in the diamond jewellery market, and view samples from around 300 leading manufacturers.

Exhibitors will include Hot Diamonds, Kassoy and Universal Fine Jewellery, and delegates will be addressed by former New York mayor, Rudolph Giuliani, as well as former CEO of General Electric (GE), Jack Welch.

Mary Forte, CEO of Zale and sitting on the event's advisory board, told Diamonds.Net that the event offers "the industry’s major retailers and high volume buyers [a place] to interact and transact with a hand-selected group of premiere manufacturers."

JCK Las Vegas will take place in June this year, when the event celebrates its 15th anniversary.
