Gold jewellery for totsTuesday, 10th January 2006 (4100 views) As all top brands know, infiltrating the minds of your target audience while they're young can be an essential ingredient of the marketing mix. With this in mind, jewellery designer Almond Group has launched its first gold jewellery range for tots. The US company is claiming that "gold has never been so cute" as it unveiled its new chi.chi-me line for children and infants. The new range will allow parents to kit their kids out in jewellery from head to toe, with 10- and 14-carat gold bangles, bracelets, charms, pendants, earrings, rings, earrings and toe-rings among the trinkets on offer. "For the first time, Almond is presenting a collection of accessories for infants and children," commented Maurice Mandelbaum, Almond Group's president. "As creators of stylish, timeless pieces, we wanted to broaden our reach and offer our signature, unmatched quality and creativity to a younger generation." The designs appeal to child-like sensibilities, with snowmen, ducks and giraffe-shaped jewellery featuring in the line-up. But parents can be assured that the quality won't suffer for it, with each piece in the collection enhanced with precise enamel and sparkling diamond-cut finishes. The range is being marketed towards "stylish parents" and is available in Piercing Pagonda outlets across the US.
