Friday, 9th December 2005 (5725 views) A Guyanan jewellers is offering its customers over $2 million of prizes to celebrate its tenth anniversary.In a promotional exercise, Stabroek-based Steve's Jewellery will give its customers ten per cent off all gold and diamond purchases in the run up to Christmas, reports the Stabroek News. The items consumers could win include a three-carat diamond necklace, a pair of diamond earrings, a diamond bracelet and a diamond ring. Jeweller Stephen Narine has been accredited by the Guyana National Bureau of Standards since 1999. He creates the jewellery on site and hand sets the precious stones in metals such as gold. Guyana is a gold-producing country with gold mines including Marudi Mountain and Omai.
