Jewellery Loot promotes money transfer

Monday, 28th November 2005 (3941 views)

Online money transfer system Remit2India has launched a jewellery promotion.

The Times of India reports that under the company's initiative, Jewellery Loot, every customer stands to win gold, silver, diamond or pearl jewellery.

Each customer will receive a jewellery item, with the size and number of their transactions corresponding to the size of the prize.

"We like to spoil our customers and go the extra mile to delight them with guaranteed gifts," said Suresh Rangarajan, chief operating officer of Remit2India.

Only customers living in the US are eligible for the promotion, aimed at non-resident Indians.

India remains the world's largest gold consumer, making gold-related promotions a suitable draw for its residents.

Meanwhile, global demand for gold jewellery has risen, recording a year-on-year growth of 20 per cent in dollar terms in the first three quarters of 2005.
