Couples could be magnetised by rings

Thursday, 17th November 2005 (3766 views)

Sponsor of Malta's 10th Weddings Fair, Sterling Jewellery is hoping to magnetise a few couples together with its rings.

According to the Malta Independent, Sterling Jewellery introduced its magnetic his and her rings at last year's event.

The rings, which are fashioned from 18-carat gold, are attracted to each other by a magnetic charge using what the company terms 'magtinium technology'.

They can be purchased both with and without diamonds and come in a wooden jewellery box.

The Wedding Fair runs until November 20th and Sterling Jewellers' annual exhibition coincides with this to run until November 27th.

Those visiting Sterling Jewellery's exhibition can also view the 18-carat gold Commonwealth Mace.
