Sky Jewellery has just announced the winners of its Buy Gold and Win Gold promotion ahead of its gold kilo giveaway, reports the Times of Oman.

The promotion was organised as a forerunner to its upcoming grand draw in which one customer will win a kilo of gold.

First prize of ten gold sovereigns in the Buy Gold and Win Gold draw went to Unnikrishnan Warier, chief executive officer of SISA Technical Services.

Five gold sovereigns were awarded to all second prize winners, while those winning third prizes each walked away with a gold sovereign.

Sky Jewellery will be holding its next promotion to coincide with the festivals of Diwali and Eid, with Diwali being a traditionally auspicious day on which to purchase gold jewellery.

The company is currently operating an advanced-booking scheme. Customers can protect themselves from rising gold prices by paying a fixed advance on all gold jewellery.
