Richardson's Jewellery was recently named the Small Business of the Year by the Camrose Chamber of Commerce's small business banquet in Canada.

Sherry and James Cardiff received the award for Richardson's, which honours a small business' outstanding achievement is community service.

Mr Cardiff said: "It is an honour to receive this award, it is as large an honour just to be nominated. It’s not my business that really makes this award, it’s my staff."

Richardson's Jewellery offers a wide range of items and specialises in engagement rings, watches, diamond jewellery and wedding bands. All are offered in gold, silver and platinum.

Also awarded at the banquet was the Community Spirit prize, which was given to Hauser Home Building Centre.
