Both Eva Longoria and Halle Berry wore gold hoops at the 57th edition of the Primetime Emmy Awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday 18th September.

The Emmys are held each year to recognise achievement in US primetime television.

Halle Berry was wearing a blue Ungaro gown and sported gold hoop earrings, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Television channel HBO picked up the most Emmys, seven, although rival channel ABC received six awards.

Winner of the best comedy series was CBS' Everybody Loves Raymond, which beat Arrested Development, Desperate Housewives, Scrubs and Will & Grace, to the top spot.

Heidi Klum, who has recently launched her new jewellery collection for Mouawad and just given birth to a son, made an appearance on the red carpet, turning up for Project Runway, a programme she presented.

Although Ms Longoria and Ms Berry wore gold earrings, loud jewellery was reportedly not in abundance.
