$41.4 million red gold dressThursday, 15th September 2005 (4201 views) Fashion Week in New York continued its gold theme as LA jeweller Chris Aire showed his pieces.A breathtaking dress worth an estimated $41.4 million and fashioned entirely of red gold and diamonds graced New York's Public Library, which was transformed to include a catwalk. This intricate dress was set with 5,500 diamonds weighing 3,496 carats. Another dazzling highlight was Aire's Bike Chain necklace, worn by supermodel Tyson Beckford and including 62 Ascher-cut diamonds, reports IDEX. Mr Aire also took this opportunity to display Eternity Tags, an extension of his dog tag collection with a spherical design. Fashionistas are tipping gold as a hot favourite for this season.
