The family-run Tous fashion label was founded in 1920 and is now run by husband and wife team, Rosa and Salvador Tous.

Famed for its gold bear emblem, which Tous adopted in 1985, the label has included the bear in articles as varied as shoes and perfume.

"Shy and coy at the beginning, he would appear on some earrings or a pendant. Later, it grew up, changed and evolved – just like anyone of us," commented Mrs Tous on the bear's 20th anniversary.

Tous' latest collection includes numerous silver sterling bears linked together to form earrings and necklaces as well as the Angkor collection comprised of fan shaped 18-carat gold jewellery influenced by Cambodia's Angkor Wat.

The Tous bear celebrated its 20th birthday this year and is included in every new collection.

Tous has many branches in Spain and operates worldwide.
