Ten winners walk away with a kilo of goldMonday, 5th September 2005 (4107 views) The Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group's (DGJG's) 'Dubai Summer Surprises' campaign has come to an end.After ten weeks of giving away a gold bar weighing a kilo and a diamond solitaire each week the promotion has been hailed a success. The chairman of the DGJG, Mr Tawhid Abdullah, suggested that the dual promotion ensured its success, reports AME Info. "The promotion had a high impact because of the double opportunity to win - one kilogram [of] gold and one carat Solitaire diamond week after week," he commented. During the campaign several jewellers launched their summer collections. The DGJG has over 650 members and was founded in 1996.
