Orogemma trade show will include LJIWednesday, 31st August 2005 (4446 views) The leading jewellery trade show, Orogemma, takes place in Vicenza, Italy and regularly attracts over 1,700 exhibitors.Amongst those exhibiting is LJInternational, which recently wowed the crowds with its collections that included gold jewellery. The company totted up $20 million in new orders at the June JCK Show in Las Vegas. "We expect a continuation of the strongly positive reception to our product lines, coupled with the heightened demand that is to be expected this time of year," commented LJI's company chairman, Yu Chuan Yih. At the event gold-lovers can browse various merchandise categories including a machined and hand-crafted gold one and also view the exhibit on jewellery trends at the 'Shapes of Jewellery Visions' pavilion. 'Shapes of Jewellery Vision' will involve designers, research institutes, trendsetters and organisations to combine as much jewellery knowledge as possible. Within the pavilion a 'Trend Lab' will enable visitors to explore all the latest jewellery trends and an exchange of ideas is warmly welcomed. This years' exhibition runs from September 10th to the 15th and highlights of Saturday's events are the Graduation Thesis Competition promoted by the Gold Jewellers Section of the Province of Vicenza Industrial Association and the Trissino Oro Competition dedicated to gold jewellery design.
