Rebecca Norman is known for its sophisticated and fashion-forward jewellery and since June customers have been able to snap up one of the creations at its namesake's Solana Beach store located near San Diego.<br/><br/>The owner has been creating jewellery pieces for five years and uses a variety of media including gold.<br/><br/>"I've been in the workshop for so long; now I'm really getting into business development. Retail is thrilling to me because I get to deal directly with the customer," Ms Norman told the Union Tribune.<br/><br/>Before opening her Californian shop she was a wholesaler and sold via catalogues.<br/><br/>Pieces in her fine jewellery collection include an amethyst and shell macramé bracelet with 22-carat gold and 18-carat gold oval hoop earrings with rubies.<br/><br/>She recently exhibited at the august Designers & Agents exhibition in Los Angeles, which acts as an independent and international marketplace.<br/><br/><br/><img alt="track" src='http://feeds.directnews.org.uk/feedtrack/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=15027807'/>© Adfero Ltd
