An increasing number of dog owners are choosing to spoil their pooches by buying them gold jewellery.<br/><br/>Paw Palace, which started as an online venture, has opened in the United States to cater for pet owners seeking to spoil their dogs and not just with treats, but luxury fashion lines.<br/><br/>Commenting on the shop's customer base, owner Dana Ujobagy said: "Many of our clientele are young to middle-aged women who don’t have kids; their pooch is their child and they bring them everywhere. <br/><br/>"So in return, they are dressing and accessorizing them so that the dog is as fashionable as the owner."<br/><br/>Celebrity dog owners in particular are fond of the gold jewellery and accessories, in addition to the luxury clothing and perfumes.<br/><br/><br/><br/><img alt="track" src='http://feeds.directnews.org.uk/feedtrack/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=15021146'/>© Adfero Ltd
