A new form of gold jewellery has proved popular in the US, especially amongst the rich and famous.<br/><br/>Young actress Lindsay Lohan, a perennial figure on the LA party scene, has been spotted wearing a pair of novel origami style gold earrings, the Telegraph reports.<br/><br/>The intricate jewellery, inspired by the Japanese art form, is by Slink, the new jewellery line from Lakshmi Gulab and Kiran Bharwani. <br/><br/>The unusual and unique designs were inspired by the pair's time spent in India, Africa, Hong Kong and Japan.<br/><br/>A collection of 35 pieces is available to customers with items utilising white mother of pearl, diamonds, coral and gold.<img alt="track" src="http://feeds.directnews.org.uk/feedtrack/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=16157943"/>
