Indian gold exhibition travels to BangladeshFriday, 8th July 2005 (5441 views) An exhibition in Bangladesh is showcasing the latest jewellery innovations from India at the Washington Hotel.The enormous show, which will run from July 2nd to July 10th, encompasses 150 stalls, features an astonishing array of gold pieces. Pendants, bracelets, rings and all manner of items will be on show, drawing on India's extensive craftsmanship in the field of gold. Hindustan Jewelry Project has backed the exhibition, which is the brainchild of merchant Shirajul Islam. The Bangladeshi newspaper the New Nation reports that the exhibition will include a number of intricate designs using city gold jewellery designs.
