Collected by many celebrities and jewellery-lovers, the exquisite designs of the Bagues-Masriera jewellery house brings the elegance of the art nouveau period to its gold pieces.

Using the unique enamel designs of the art nouveau artist/jeweller Lluis Masriera, who worked in Barcelona at the turn of the twentieth century, and the expertise of the Bagues family of jewellers, the pieces feature 18 and 24 carat gold in stunning forms.

Each item is a unique work of art, often featuring the typical art nouveau motifs of landscapes, birds, flowers and the female form, created in a multilayered process of firing and enamelling.

"The colour palette of the jewel is nearly infinite. Not only do the number of colours vary, but their combinations too," commented Oriol Oliveras, managing director of Bagues-Masriera.
