The release of the latest Bollywood blockbuster today is to be accompanied by the launch of an exclusive gold jewellery collection.<br/><br/>Parineeta, adapted from the novel by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, is set in 1960s Kolkata - a time synonymous with high-voltage glamour.<br/><br/>Anjali jewellers have produced the Parineeta Collection, an exclusive line of traditional Bengali gold jewellery, especially for the film.<br/><br/>The range includes Jadoa-gold sets studded with rubies, emeralds, diamonds and pearls, as well as thewa designs featuring black beads strung with pendants on gold blocks.<br/><br/>Actress Vidya Balan, who plays the protagonist Lolita, will be wearing items from the collection - which features necklaces, chokers, bangles, wristbands, earrings and patihaar - at the Bollywood IIFA Awards to be held in Amsterdam this weekend.<br/><br/>Anjali jewellers have also created ranges of exquisitely crafted designs for such Bollywood smash hits as Chokher Bali and Devdas.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8713804"/>
