Friday, 10th June 2005 (5737 views) Following the success of "lakh" pieces of jewellery that were offered as promotions with the sale of its consumer products, Modicare Ltd has begun to sell jewellery to its customers.<br/><br/>The popularity of the promotion over the last four months has prompted the Indian-based direct selling company to market a range of 18-carat studded jewellery, according to Sify Finance News.<br/><br/>The direct marketing company sells products in the health and nutrition, cosmetics, skin care and personal care sectors and the unexpected addition of gold jewellery has already proved popular with customers.<br/><br/>The collection, called `Bella Passione', that have been designed by the Italian designer, Antonio Rosso and the range is focussed on women, with seven collections and 29 products.<br/><br/>The company has already held two fashion shows and Chris Bolsover, chief executive officer of Modicare, told Sify Finance that the orders placed at these events have been "overwhelming".<br/><br/>Modicare is planning to promote and sell the jewellery range for women through its female direct sellers, however Mr Bolsover has said that there are plans to produce a larger range with products aimed at men.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8712927"/>
