Some of the most important figures in the gold jewellery industry have been attending the Couture Jewellery Collection & Conference in Las Vegas.

More than 1,200 people are attending the elite jewellery show, which is taking place at the new Wynn resort.

Galas, industry discussion panels, networking opportunities, information sessions, awards and performances have all been arranged to complement the 184 exhibitors displaying high-end gold jewellery collections.

Gold Expressions, the Language of Italian Design is to launch today with a special performance by Jewel, National Jeweler reports.

The launch concludes the event, which was organised by the World Gold Council (WGC), Conde Nast Media Group, AngloGold Ashanti, Vicenza Fair and VNU to celebrate the new Gold Expressions collection.
