Wednesday, 1st June 2005 (6956 views) American gold jewellery marketer and manufacturer, Michael Anthony Jewelers has said that it is in preliminary negotiations for the possible combination of its jewellery design, marketing and manufacturing business with Bel-Oro International. <br/><br/>Bel-Oro International is a New York-based company that operates the Bel-Oro, Pace and Sardelli group of companies and imports and distributes jewellery including gold, silver and precious stone items to leading high street retailers.<br/> <br/>The planned transaction between the company and Bel-Oro is subject to due diligence as well as the negotiation and execution of definitive agreements. <br/><br/>Michael Anthony Jewelers current customers include jewellery chain stores, discount stores, department stores, television shopping networks and wholesalers. <br/><br/>Wall-mart and J.C Penney are the company's biggest customers and the company's gold jewellery is stocked in almost 20,000 stores.
