Wednesday, 18th May 2005 (5842 views) Latest figures released from the Zale jewellery group have revealed a 6.7 per cent increase in revenue to $516 million.<br/><br/>In addition same store sales were up by 3.5 per cent during the third quarter ending April 30th 2005.<br/><br/>Chief executive, Mary L Forte, commented: "We are very pleased with these earnings results as they reflect the ongoing execution of our strategy."<br/><br/>Other results showed net earnings went up to $14.5 million during the quarter. <br/><br/>Zale is the largest speciality fine jewellery retailer in North America and it has around 2,330 retail stores throughout the US, Puerto Rico and Canada.<br/><br/>The company also sells fine jewellery online via two websites.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8531806"/>
