Monday, 16th May 2005 (6909 views) Yafriro Cilibrer Le Temps is the latest in a string of classy watch boutiques to open in Jakarta.<br/><br/>The brand's name - meaning "celebrate the time" - epitomises the growing trend for high-class gold timepieces on the Indonesian jewellery market.<br/><br/>Avoiding the well-known luxury brands of Cartier and Rolex, the Singapore-based Yafriro International company has decided to showcase work from new and alternative jewellery designers.<br/><br/>According to the Jakarta Post, brand founder Iwan K.C. Hew said he had based his business in Indonesia because it is a market that welcomes new ideas and innovative designs.<br/><br/>Jean Dunand is another brand to have recognised the growing demand for stylish gold and precious metal creations in the region, and produces a range of precision watches made from yellow, pink and white gold.<br/><br/>The Double Tourbillon 300 recently graced the wrist of Prince Albert of Monaco, and is finished in jade gold, with a case of red, yellow or white gold and white gold screws.<br/><br/>Yafriro has plans to open a new store later this year in Bangkok, and looks to have some hot competition on its heels as the market for gold watches continues to boom.<img alt="track" src="http://directnews.dehavilland.co.uk/dn.gif?feedid=196&itemid=8513387"/>
